Fields

request: Era5Request

What was asked for.

times: Vec<(UtcTime, f64)>

The file’s times used and their weights: one on the hour, else the two around it.

levels: Vec<Era5Level>

The levels, lowest (highest pressure) first.

unread: Vec<String>

Variables on the same grid that were not read, such as humidity.

Reads the atmosphere at request from an ERA5 pressure-level file.

Errors

Era5Error: a variable missing or with other dimensions or units, a time axis whose units or calendar cannot be read, a site or time outside the file, a missing value around the site, or a non-finite coordinate.

pub fn sounding( &self, wind_interpolation: WindInterpolation, ) -> Result<SoundingProfile, AtmosError>

The profile as an atmosphere: every level’s height, temperature, pressure and wind, dry, at the site’s latitude, with the wind interpolated as wind_interpolation.

Errors

AtmosError as SoundingProfile::new raises it, for example for heights that do not increase from level to level.
