Why an ERA5 profile could not be read.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

NetCdf(NetCdfError)

The netCDF file could not be read.

§

MissingVariable

A variable the profile needs is not in the file.

Fields

§name: String

The name, or the alternatives, looked for.

§

Dimensions

A variable’s dimensions are not the ones ERA5 writes.

Fields

§variable: String

The variable.

§found: Vec<String>

Its dimensions: the first eight, then how many more there are.

§expected: String

What was expected.

§

Units

A variable’s units are not the ones expected.

Fields

§variable: String

The variable.

§units: String

Its units attribute, empty if absent.

§expected: String

What was expected.

§

Time

The time variable’s units or calendar cannot be read.

Fields

§reason: String

Why.

§

OutsideTimes

The launch time is outside the file’s times.

Fields

§requested: f64

The launch time, seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00Z.

§first: f64

The first time in the file.

§last: f64

The last time in the file.

§

OutsideGrid

The site is outside the file’s grid.

Fields

§axis: &'static str

latitude or longitude.

§value: f64

The site’s coordinate.

§first: f64

The grid’s first value.

§last: f64

The grid’s last value.

§

EmptyAxis

A coordinate axis has no values.

Fields

§axis: String

The axis.

§

MissingCoordinate

A coordinate value is missing (a fill value).

Fields

§axis: String

The axis.

§index: usize

The position along it.

§

NotMonotonic

A coordinate axis is not strictly monotonic.

Fields

§axis: String

The axis.

§

MissingValue

A value the profile needs is missing (a fill value) in the file.

Fields

§variable: String

The variable.

§pressure_pa: f64

The level.

§

Domain

A request value is not usable.

Fields

§what: &'static str

What the value is.

§value: f64

The value.

§

Atmos(AtmosError)

The atmosphere could not be built from the levels.
