Expand description

How a flight is integrated and when it gives up.

Fields§

§method: Method

The integration method and tolerances.

§max_time_s: f64

The flight stops with Termination::TimeCap at this time after launch, s.

§step_limit: u64

The flight stops with Termination::StepLimit after this many attempted steps.

§accept_design_errors: bool

Fly a design whose checks report errors.

impl Default for FlightSettings

Source§

fn default() -> Self

Dormand–Prince 5(4) with rtol = atol = 1e-8 and unit weights (1.1 ms and an apogee converged to 3e-5 m for a Level 2 flight, docs/physics/flight.md), a one-hour time cap, a limit of 10⁶ steps, and design errors refused.

Source§

impl<'de> Deserialize<'de> for FlightSettings

Source§

fn deserialize<__D>(__deserializer: __D) -> Result<Self, __D::Error>

1.0.0 (const: unstable) · Source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
