Rail,
Free,
Descent,
}Expand description
Where the rocket is in its flight, which decides what it is free to do.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Pad
Held on the pad by gravity and friction: the state doesn’t change.
Rail
Guided along the rail: one degree of freedom, no rotation.
Free
Free flight: six degrees of freedom.
Descent
Descent under recovery devices: a point mass, with the attitude frozen where it deployed
(docs/physics/recovery.md).
