Expand description

One motor’s record. The API returns only the fields that have values, so all but the id, manufacturer and designation are optional. Units are the API’s: newtons, newton-seconds, seconds, millimeters and grams.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§motor_id: String

ThrustCurve’s id, 24 hexadecimal digits: what a Download names.

§manufacturer: String

The manufacturer’s full name (Cesaroni Technology).

§manufacturer_abbrev: Option<String>

Its short name (Cesaroni).

§designation: String

The manufacturer’s designation (3683L851-P).

§common_name: Option<String>

The common name (L851).

§impulse_class: Option<String>

The impulse class letter.

§cert_org: Option<String>

The certifying body’s name.

§diameter_mm: Option<f64>

Diameter, mm.

§length_mm: Option<f64>

Length, mm.

§motor_type: Option<String>

SU (single use), reload or hybrid, as the API writes it.

§avg_thrust_n: Option<f64>

Average thrust, N.

§max_thrust_n: Option<f64>

Peak thrust, N.

§total_impulse_ns: Option<f64>

Total impulse, N·s.

§burn_time_s: Option<f64>

Burn time, s.

§data_files: Option<u32>

How many data files (curves) it has.

§info_url: Option<String>

The certification or manufacturer’s page.

§total_weight_g: Option<f64>

Loaded weight, g.

§propellant_weight_g: Option<f64>

Propellant weight, g.

§delays: Option<String>

The delays offered, as the API writes them (6,10,14, P for a plugged motor).

§delay_adjustable: Option<bool>

Whether the delay is cut to length by the flier.

§case_info: Option<String>

The reload’s case (RMS-54/852).

§prop_info: Option<String>

The propellant’s name (Dark Matter).

§sparky: Option<bool>

Whether the exhaust throws sparks.

§updated_on: Option<String>

When the record last changed, YYYY-MM-DD.

§availability: Option<String>

regular, occasional or OOP (out of production), as the API writes it.

§source_url: Option<String>

The motor’s page on the site.
