PartKind

Enum PartKind

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum PartKind { BodyTube(Tube), TubeCoupler(Tube), EngineBlock(Tube), CenteringRing(Tube), LaunchLug(Tube), Bulkhead(Bulkhead), NoseCone(NoseCone), Transition(Transition), Parachute(Parachute), Streamer(Streamer), }
Expand description

A part’s kind and dimensions.

The five tube-like kinds share Tube’s fields, as the format gives them: an inner and outer diameter and a length (a centering ring’s length is its thickness).

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

BodyTube(Tube)

An airframe tube (<BodyTube>).

§

TubeCoupler(Tube)

A coupler that joins two tubes (<TubeCoupler>); an inner diameter of zero makes it a solid nose block.

§

EngineBlock(Tube)

A ring that stops the motor moving forward (<EngineBlock>).

§

CenteringRing(Tube)

A ring that holds an inner tube in an outer one (<CenteringRing>).

§

LaunchLug(Tube)

A launch lug (<LaunchLug>).

§

Bulkhead(Bulkhead)

A solid disc (<BulkHead>).

§

NoseCone(NoseCone)

A nose cone (<NoseCone>).

§

Transition(Transition)

A transition between two diameters (<Transition>).

§

Parachute(Parachute)

A parachute (<Parachute>).

§

Streamer(Streamer)

A streamer (<Streamer>).

Implementations§

Source§

impl PartKind

Source

pub fn tube(&self) -> Option<&Tube>

The tube-like part’s sizes, for the five tube-like kinds.

Source

pub fn materials(&self) -> Vec<&MaterialRef>

The materials the part names: one, or a parachute’s canopy and its lines.
