Values

Enum Values

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum Values { Byte(Vec<i8>), Char(Vec<u8>), Short(Vec<i16>), Int(Vec<i32>), Float(Vec<f32>), Double(Vec<f64>), }
Expand description

A block of values of one type, in row-major order.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Byte(Vec<i8>)

NC_BYTE, read as signed (the specification’s default).

§

Char(Vec<u8>)

NC_CHAR, as the bytes stored; the specification leaves their encoding open.

§

Short(Vec<i16>)

NC_SHORT.

§

Int(Vec<i32>)

NC_INT.

§

Float(Vec<f32>)

NC_FLOAT.

§

Double(Vec<f64>)

NC_DOUBLE.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Values

Source

pub fn kind(&self) -> Type

The type of the values.

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

The number of values.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Whether there are no values.

Source

pub fn get(&self, index: usize) -> Option<f64>

Value index as a number, exactly (every type converts to f64 without rounding); None past the end or for characters.

Source

pub fn text(&self) -> Option<&str>

Characters as text: None unless they are UTF-8. Trailing NUL bytes, which some writers store after an attribute’s text, are left off.
