Expand description

An error from a core model: a table that can’t be built, a lookup it refuses, or an input outside a model’s domain.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

TableTooShort

A table needs at least min knots.

Fields

§min: usize

The minimum number of knots.

§got: usize

The number supplied.

§

TableLengthMismatch

The abscissa and ordinate columns have different lengths.

Fields

§xs: usize

Number of abscissae.

§ys: usize

Number of ordinates.

§

TableNotFinite

A table value is NaN or infinite.

Fields

§index: usize

Index of the offending knot.

§

TableNotIncreasing

Abscissae must strictly increase.

Fields

§index: usize

Index of the first abscissa that is not greater than its predecessor.

§

OutOfRange

A lookup outside the table, on a table whose policy is crate::interp::Extrapolation::Error.

Fields

§x: f64

The requested abscissa.

§min: f64

The first abscissa.

§max: f64

The last abscissa.

§

TableOverflow

An interval’s width, its secant slope or a spline slope overflows f64.

Fields

§interval: usize

Index of the interval [x_i, x_{i+1}].

§

ExtrapolationOverflow

Linear extrapolation gave a value that is not finite.

Fields

§x: f64

The requested abscissa.

§

NanLookup

A lookup at NaN.

§

InvalidRandomState

A serialized random generator state that is not four 0x-prefixed hexadecimal 64-bit words, or is all zero.

§

QuadratureNotFinite

An integrand returned NaN or an infinity.

Fields

§x: f64

Where the integrand was evaluated.

§

QuadratureDidNotConverge

Adaptive integration didn’t meet its tolerance within its subinterval budget.

Fields

§component: usize

The component furthest from its tolerance.

§value: f64

Its best estimate.

§error: f64

Its error estimate.

§intervals: usize

The subintervals used.

§

Domain

An input outside a model’s domain, such as a latitude beyond ±90°.

Fields

§what: &'static str

What the value is.

§value: f64

The offending value.
