Struct BodyAero

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct BodyAero { pub id: String, pub fore_station_m: f64, pub geometry: BodyGeometry, pub step_area_m2: f64, pub slope_per_rad: f64, pub moment_slope_m: f64, pub planform_ratio: f64, pub lift_station_m: f64, }
Expand description

A body component’s precomputed terms.

Serialize-only, like AeroModel: the terms are computed by AeroModel::new, not read.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§id: String

The component’s id.

§fore_station_m: f64

Station of its fore end, m.

§geometry: BodyGeometry

Its geometry.

§step_area_m2: f64

The step in cross-section area from the previous body component’s aft end to this one’s fore end, m² (zero for the first body component).

§slope_per_rad: f64

Slender-body theory’s potential-flow slope at α → 0, per radian, with the step. Faster than sound a body the shock-expansion method covers takes its share instead (SupersonicBody).

§moment_slope_m: f64

Slender-body theory’s potential-flow moment slope about the nose tip, m per radian, with the step.

§planform_ratio: f64

Its planform over the reference area, A_plan / A_ref: body lift is C_N = factor · planform_ratio · sin² α, the factor from the model’s BodyLift.

§lift_station_m: f64

Station of the body lift, m.
